Walk in Walt’s footsteps as our expert guides share captivating stories about his formative years in Chicago. You’ll gain a rare, intimate glimpse into the roots of a visionary whose work still inspires millions.

There is street parking available on Palmer Street. We are encouraging everyone to Uber/Lyft to avoid any issues with parking.
To preserve the integrity of the original design and construction of the home, it is not currently wheelchair-accessible. There is a small flight of stairs leading up to the front door, and a fairly steep, narrow staircase from the first to the second floor.
No, at this time, we do not allow food or beverages to be brought into the home.
You are welcome to take pictures and record audio and video!

Due to the limited number of tours and visitors, regretfully, all our sales are final. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow any animals to tour the home at this time.

Live Streaming & Recording Policy

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all, please refrain from recording or live streaming during guided tours. These activities can be distracting to fellow guests and may disrupt the flow of the experience.

You’re absolutely welcome to take as many photos as you’d like and to record or stream before or after your tour—just not during the guided portion.
